I was surfing through the comments of my favorite Twilight recapper -she's reading it so we don't have to AND providing wonderful snarky comments on every chapter, isn't that sweet of her?- and I found this awesome comment that I just had to share.

The user calls themselves Catrys and just to clarify it, I did not not come up with this brilliant idea even though I wish I had.

Ok… how about this: Her parents are actually dead and she’s delusional (which she was before, but now in a new way too) and has been imagining them, like she did with edwards voice when she was killing herself.

This explains a fair bit, actually. She obsesses about the Cullens because they are dead (like her parents), a family and are “happy and perfect.” This shows her you can still be happy, even if your family is dead. They also, for all purposes, can’t die and thus will never leave her.

She wants to be a vampire so that she won’t die and go away like her parents, and so she can have a “family” again (Cullens.) Also so she can’t grow “old” a.k.a. close to the age her parents were when they died, which she fears because “that’s the age when people die.”

She can’t bring herself to call Charley “dad” because he’s dead and not actually there. Speaking of which, she has the worst father in the world because he’s not real, and just in her head.On a similar note, her mom only really appears once in the first book, to go “oh, you’re hurt? isn’t that nice… at least you are in capable hands. KAITHXBI!”

Bella’s and Edwards trip to Florida is skipped because there would be no way to avoid complications when she visits her mom’s grave. So she just blocked out the whole thing.

Also, she never calls her mom, nor vise versa ’cause she’s dead.

At the begining of the first book, she’s a bitch to everyone at school, because she’s angery that her parents are dead. Everyone is nice back to her despite this because she’s “the new girl who’s parents just died” and they don’t want to look like jerks.




How much would you love to read this book?

So earlier today I watched Children of the Corn IV: The Gathering because Mark Salling, who acts Puck in Glee, was in it. Sadly he wasn't in it nearly enough to make it worth watching. Also it's a terrible movie so really, don't watch it.

I did however grab a couple of caps so if anyone is interested in seeing what he looked like in '96, you can. The second cap isn't that great but it lets you see what his hair looks like. The word is adorable and I'm pretty sure that's why he keeps it short. More men need to just give in to their pretty side and that's all I'm going to say on that.

Today was spent watching tv with a friend and starting a new knitting project. It's a little baby hat in this cute pink and yellow self patterning yarn and I'm already almost halfway done.

No new house news. I called the realtor and she said she'd call me back and she never did. I'm getting insanely frustrated with this. Tomorrow I'm going to try a different company as well as call her again. Even though I don't feel I should, it seems very unprofessional to not even call and let a prospective client know you couldn't get ahold of the tenants.

Davin is doing well. Quite a bit of his chest and stomach are healed up and the xenograft has peeled off and been cut away. It's really itching though and he is on Benadryl constantly to keep him from scratching at it.

So yeah, hopefully something will happen tomorrow.

But oh lord, I found this site that has pictures of Dan Byrd when he was a wee thing (17 according to imdb) but he looks about 12 and is adorable!

I know I don't always comment on your entries but I read them all and think you guys are awesome!

So I was rewatching the Merlin Cast Videos earlier and Davin -who is now one and half- crawled up on the chair next to me and was watching it with me. Then we went and hopped in the bath to get him clean before bed and he's playing, splashing around and then he goes "Awooga!" just like that out of nowhere and absolutely cracked me up. It had to have been a good forty-five minutes after he saw it.

The part he copies is about 58 seconds in although there's no conceivable reason not to watch the whole thing. (Also, I just noticed that at about 42 seconds in you can hear Colin say 'Oh shit.' I lol'd.)

Just got finished watching the inauguration and oh my god, I'm so happy right now. So proud of our country and so proud of President Obama. It feels so good to be able to say that!

Here's to the next four years and hopefully the next eight!
