Title: That's Right, Aliens
Pairing: None
Rating: PG
Warnings: None, this is just crack
Disclaimer: I obviously don’t own Heroes.
Summary: So the future pretty much sucked.
Notes: Sequel to Really, Why Didn't Someone Just Lock Peter Up and prequel to The Battle Was Not Going Their Way. Beta'd by
flying_monkees and
thepansythug and written for the
mission_insane prompt Aliens Made Them Do It.
So the future pretty much sucked. Even Sylar couldn't think of anything to say to the fact that aliens had made lettuce into weapons because it was the only thing that no power would work on. Peter had been very bitter that this was what made Sylar shut up, a fact that he kept bitching about. Loudly. Jessica had come out and knocked him unconscious, then looked nonplussed back at everyone's startled faces.
“What?” She shrugged. “One more whiny word out of him and I was going to rip his tongue out. I figured you guys would appreciate my compromise.”
They'd been rescued by a group of people who could only be called rebels. A fact that West had enthused about until Claire threatened to sic Jessica on him. They'd glared at each other with a venom that only broken-up teenagers could muster and Matt had whispered to Mohinder that Molly was never allowed to date. Mohinder had heartily agreed.
And since Peter for some reason couldn't time travel back, they were stuck. Sylar was the one who said what most of them were thinking.
“Well, if we're going to be stuck here, we're going to be fighting. Fucking aliens, good God.”

Jessica had come out and knocked him unconscious, then looked nonplussed back at everyone's startled faces.
Yay Jessica! ^^ Seriously, the emo pout is one thing but whinging is something else entirely. And I can so imagine everyone standing around going *kerblink* "-- um...what just happened?"
Sylar was the one who said what most of them were thinking.
Because, seriously, he would be the voice of reason! What? Just because the guy cuts open people's heads and takes their brains -- and does God only knows what with them -- doesn't mean that he can't be sensible.
...or something like that, anyway? ^^;;;
