Title: The Battle Was Not Going Their Way
Pairing: None
Rating: PG
Warnings: Random and cracky
Disclaimer: I obviously don’t own Heroes.
Summary: Well, it's obviously not going their way.
Notes: Written as a one-shot but I have other parts planned now. So yeah, there will be an explanation. Much thanks to [livejournal.com profile] flying_monkees and [livejournal.com profile] thepansythug for beta'ing for me. Written for the [livejournal.com profile] mission_insane prompt Lettuce.

“Holy shit men!” Peter yelled as a head of lettuce whizzed past his head. “We need to get the hell out of here! Retreat! Retreat!”

“Dear god, do I look like a man to you?” Claire howled as she took aim and fired at a particularly huge head of iceberg, watching as it exploded in a brilliant shower of green. She whooped in triumph, ignoring her uncle's glare as he signaled for their motley band to retreat.

Sylar completely ignored Peter as he popped his head up out of their trench and pulled the trigger on his automatic, taking out several heads of romaine.

“Damn you lettuce!” he bellowed, ducking back down and narrowly missing getting taken down by a vicious round of radicchio. He kept aiming and firing, not stopping until he was finally yanked along towards the rest of the rebels by Bennet.

Random, cracky, and kind of perfect for a rainy Saturday afternoon. Thanks for the laugh! I can just envision the lettuce exploding and going everywhere. LOL

Love!
