So I'm aware that my rare updates have become even rarer and I'm pretty much the world's worst journal keeper and that I should probably talk about my life or something but fuck that because I just watched this week's True Blood. (3.09, Everything Is Broken)

And sweet Jesus, it keeps getting awesomer and awesomer. By awesome I mean sexy. Tommy's bush! Sammy all bloody with his pretty chest showing! Pam's tits doing their very best to pop straight out of her shirt! Pretty much everything Jessica does ever! Even Beel is getting hotter! Wtf, True Blood, how do you do it?!

I know everyone loved Franklin, which baffles me because I was in the minority who was totally skeeved out by him and actually screamed when he showed up. I'm so glad he's dead! I cheered out loud and did a little happy dance! And show, thanks for going there and making what happened to Tara rape. Please stick to that and have no one tell her she's over-reacting or any of the million other things you can do to trivialize what millions of women have gone through.

Yes to them not down-playing what happened to her. I don't like that it happened to her but I like that they are calling it what it is.

I liked Franklin ... he was crazy and his has might have really thought he was in love, but I'm glad he won't be able to hurt Tara anymore. I hope she gets more screen time and they handle her story line delicately.

MOSTLY I hope it doesn't get brushed under the rug.

I was so afraid that because she initiated it that they were going to handwave that it wasn't rape when it so clearly was.

I would have liked him if all of his scenes I wasn't cringing away and feeling terrified for Tara. And the comedy just seemed like they were trying to make light of his actions.

Right, this seems like the type of thing that they would give a 5 minute storyline to and then pretend it never happened.
