So, even though Kieran requested not to go and was told he wasn't going, apparently they're going to send him on the MEU. (Don't ask me what those letters stand for, I dunno, I might not even be spelling it right.) What that is being shipped out on a boat for six months to do who knows what.

Fan-fucking-tastic.

So he's leaving in February after all. He's going to miss my birthday and Davin's second birthday. He's going to miss Watchmen. (Which was actually what I said, wtf self.)

However, on the bright side, I'm going to be making a trip home and probably a trip to see a friend or a couple of friends. So I won't be stuck here by myself going crazy and talking only to myself and Davin.

I'm still pissed though. Fucking Marine Corps.

Oh baby! I'm so sorry, that sucks so bad!!! It's good that you're planning some trips for yourself - definitely better than being at home alone the whole time. Space them out nicely to keep yourself occupied and make the time go faster.

LOL about thinking about missing Watchmen - that's something I would totally think of too. :) You had better line up that babysitter right now so you can still go!!!

That really does bite hun! It's not fair that they said he prob wouldn't be going and then Oh! yeah, we changed our minds. *sigh*

But at least you're getting away for a while and visiting some important peeps. *grin* And family is always good too.

Fucking Marine Corps indeed. You know James? Yeah, that James. Fucking Marine Corps. He's coming back in September from his second tour in Iraq. And he's got a new wife and a soon-to-be-born kid at home. At least he'll (hopefully) be getting back just in time for the birth.

I wouldn't happen to be one of those friends, would I? 'Cause that would be bitchin' and we could do the things we have planned. I won't mention them because I don't want to look weak in front of your peeps.
