I don't think Cas is uncomfortable with the gay kiss itself, I think it's because it's between an evil demon and a morally gray man. While he's disapproving of the evil, he's thinking of just what Dean would kiss like... also, I fucking love Crowley. That "don't miss" line had Audrey and I shrieking with laughter. Yet another demon I don't want to die, after Alastair and Azazel, of course. Oh, and Meg.
My sister got to see Jo and Ellen for the first time tonight, and she immediately fell in love with both of them. "Oh! Jo isn't one of those girls, she actually knows what she's doing! Ooh! She could be with Dean!"
I'm glad someone else thought that picture was hilarious! It was something about the way so many of them looked so solemn, and Dean's like... I can't even describe the expression, it just cracked me up.
Of course you aren't weird to want to see Death. Of course you're going to have to wait with me until motherfucking January to see him. Or her. How awesome would that be if they picked a woman to be one of these pivotal apocalypse figures sometime?
I... was furious when Jo and Ellen died. Livid. My sister was bawling and this is the only episode she's ever seen of them. I was like, "WHO ELSE ARE THEY GOING TO KILL?!" Now other than Meg, there are no other women on this show. Oh wait, there's Anna. But it's not like they're especially tight with the God Squad, since Anna only pops up once in a blue moon. To fuck Dean.
The thing that really pisses me off is that I don't think it's the writers always wanting to kill off the women. 'Cause, like, in interviews when the subject of the women characters would be brought up, Kripke would say that he loves Bela or Ruby or Jo, but the "fans" didn't seem to take well to them. Idiots. But Ellen and Jo in one scene? Wasn't enough that you killed Ash and Andy and Henriksen just when he was starting to become an awesome ally? Fuckers.
I agree with the nail thing. I mean, they're gun-toting, salt-chucking hunters. Nails... seem trivial. I don't know, maybe it's one of the luxuries they indulge in or something.
Jared has a quivering nose, Jensen has a quivering lip. They quiver together.
Audrey freaked out too, but I'm choosing to believe it was symbolic of a funeral pyre. You know, how when each character close to them died, they put them on a ceremonial pyre? Well, they don't exactly have Jo and Ellen's bodies, so... Still. Why burn the one photo of them you have? *sighs*
